This week you will see that there are still some heavy lifts with the 5×1’s but the volume has been reduced dramatically. By now, you are probably feeling a little beat up, but that’s ok, it’s how you are supposed to feel. The WODs are also a little bit lower in difficulty as well as we begin to deload for the week leading up to the Open. All of this is designed to keep the positive adaptations that you’ve worked so hard for, and allow you body to recover from the stresses of the previous weeks.

Warm-up

B: Deadlift (1-1-1-1-1)

Bar-facing burpees over the barbell
