There is a truly amazing community here at CrossFit PPG & we look forward to seeing it continue to grow for years to come! Thank you to all of our incredible members who have made it possible!

Congrats to Ronnie & Neil for building this amazing community and transforming the lives of so many, and congrats to Patrick & Scott for following a life passion to help inspire people to live fit, healthy lives in the community they love!

In case you missed the email, here’s the two part update from Ronnie & Neil and Patrick & Scott…

———–

Part 1 – from Ronnie:

As some of you may have heard or seen CrossFit PPG has been up for sale. I’d like to take a second to clear the air and give some insight to what has brought us to this decision. My wife accepted a position in Dayton, TN, and has already moved. Neil’s CPA firm was bought out and his job has moved to the Cobb Galleria, so the gym is getting pushed further away from us. We love CrossFit PPG and its members, but at the same time, we needed to figure out what was best for our families. That being said, we decided to put it up for sale. After a few weeks of fielding offers from people outside the gym, we were approached by Patrick and Scott with the possibility of them buying the gym. As an owner of a business, in my mind, the last thing I wanted to see was the gym bought by a stranger who did not know my gym and my members. This couldn’t be further from the truth with Patrick and Scott. Patrick was PPG’s first ever member in September of 2013, and Scott was not too far behind coming in November of 2013. Over the past two years, Neil and I have seen the passion for CrossFit and people through Patrick and Scott, and realize that they were more of a Godsend than anything else! They are great CrossFitters and even better people. We know wholeheartedly the gym is in good hands. With that said, we are happy to announce that CrossFit PPG will be turned over to these two and can’t wait to see it continue to grow. We trust Patrick and Scott with something very precious to us, something we poured our blood, sweat and tears into; something that we poured our hearts into…the community and gym of CrossFit PPG.

For those of you that are curious as to where Neil and myself are going, look no further than through the glass doors of PPG for the foreseeable future. I might back off more than Neil but you will still see me often, and with a huge smile on my face as usual, ready to compete in the WOD. I love CrossFit and still have the passion to run a gym, so my plans are to open up another gym in TN. Neil still plans on PPG being his home gym, coaching and WODing, for the foreseeable future. It has been fun and inspirational to see the transformations of some of you, whether that be weight loss, inches lost, or simply just feeling more confident in yourself! I can’t wait to see the continued growth of each of you, as well as PPG as a whole!

See you in the Box!
Ronnie

Part 2 – From Patrick and Scott:

As you know, we absolutely love CrossFit and this outstanding community that Ronnie & Neil have built at CrossFit PPG. We’ve always loved and had a passion for helping people, especially helping people improve their fitness and health to live their best lives possible. We are excited about bringing this passion to help build on what Neil and Ronnie started.

It is you all – this community – that makes this box so great. When we heard that one of the potential outside buyers was going to come in with their own team of trainers and get rid of all the existing coaches, we thought that would destroy the community that was built.

Instead, we believe retaining and building on this great community is the way to go. Therefore, we’d love to get your input on what works for you, what doesn’t and what you’d suggest going forward.

We’d like to speak with each of you individually for your input, and members should have also received a survey by email (so let us know if you did not).

Thanks so much & see you soon!
Patrick and Scott
