Welcome Back PPG!!! We’ve missed you!!!

For 95% of you, you haven’t squatted in two months and we don’t want to push your bodies to do something it isn’t ready for. I’ll caution everyone getting back to lifting weights after this quarantine to ease back into it if you haven’t been lifting at all. I know you will all be just as excited as we are, but no reason to injure yourself trying to work to go for a post quarantine 1RM.

To reiterate, you need a proper progression to build back to going for a heavy 1RM. DON’T ever push your body to do something it isn’t ready for! Even as someone with years of experience should be cautious. And remember your strength is one of the first things to come back so give it some time I promise you’ll be able to get back to where you were after consistently putting in the work.
